What a gem. The food here is fantastic. It’s so fresh and tasty. It’s so unique and trendy here. It’s a must go to. Never disappoints. Had a great family style dinner tonight with our dinner club. We had pheasant that was unbelievable. This is such a great place. Had dinner there with our dinner club tonight. All I can say is OMG this is simply the best place in our area!!! We had a lovely dinner at Vernon’s while in town visiting family. There are so many Italian options in the area, but Vernon’s is a standout. Our server, Megan, was awesome! I’d ask for her if she’s there. The portions were very fair, fresh bread and olive oil was provided, and my wedding soup that came with the meal was full of flavor. The Squash Pasta special is an explosion of fall in your mouth. You’ll want to save some bread to soak up the sauce. The Drunken Chicken is also an excellent choice. Thank you so much for a memorable family dinner!
I had the wedding soup, chicken francaise and a pistachio cake for dessert. Both were fantastic. The atmosphere here was so nice. I sat at the bar and spoke with so many friendly people. The service was great. I am definitely coming back!
Had Friday dinner at Vernon's. Waitress was on her game and was outstanding. She recommended the lasagna. It was outstanding. It was in top of the list of lasagna that I have had. I had asked if they knew how to make a strawberry colada. At first they said they couldn't make it. She must have said something to the manager. The manager came to our table with the drink in the photo and said this is on us hope you enjoy it. My wife loved it. This is great customer service. We will be back again. Little drive for us but it is worth it! Wish I could remember the name of our waitress. She was outstanding, great food and atmosphere. Thanks again Vernon,s Cafe
Wonderful place! Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and amazing service. The staff was super accommodating and they worked with a smile on their face. Hands down one of the best restaurants out there!
Wow! We stumbled upon this gem. We're not locals but all the locals were there. 100% delicious. Bread, meatballs, sauce, Italian wedding soup, chicken breast, creamed spinach, potatoes. Superb! Highly recommend.
The beans & greens are to die for. I got the surf & turf and it was amazing. My wife had the salmon over greens and it was incredible. The inside and outside of the restaurant were recently updated and it looks very nice.
Service and food was very good. My only complaint is the appetizer. Tried the charred octopus as an appetizer, didn't really like it, the char was too much and too bitter, but it did say charred. I do not recommend it. The pasta meals were very good, bread was delicious, and service was great.
